Pewnote: Sermon Notes – Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026 · Pentanova

Pewnote is built so your notes stay yours.

What we collect

Nothing. Pewnote has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run servers that receive your notes.

Your notes

Sermon notes are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. If you delete the app, your notes are deleted. When you choose to share or export a note, it goes only where you send it.

Microphone and speech recognition

If you use Record & transcribe, Pewnote uses Apple's on-device speech recognition to turn what you hear into text on your iPhone. Recognition is required to run on the device; audio is not saved and is not sent to us. You can turn off microphone and speech access at any time in iOS Settings.

AI summaries

On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, summaries and discussion questions are created by Apple's on-device language model. Your notes are not sent to us or to any third-party AI service.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.

Scripture

Bible text is the King James Version (public domain), included in the app.

Children

Pewnote is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information.
